If you're lucky enough to own a Vox AC15 or a Marshall JTM45 and have a place where you can turn it up all the way, then you have an idea of what the Fulltone OCD is capable of. Plug in the OCD pedal, lay into a bar chord, and you will hear multiple layers of rich harmonic overtones in addition to the fundamental tone. This is not a subtle effect, these are …

This pedal has a clean sound throughout the whole dynamic range.

I just got this pedal today and so far I am very happy with it. It is very versatile for such a small box. It is a great match for my Marshall tube amp. It preserves the dynamic range and that ringing tone I like so much from my amp.

It has very low compression and nice tight distortion for a great vintage tone.

I notice that my V4 has a red light. Is there somthing I'm missing?

do you think it has a great attack and gain?

i'm looking for a distortion pedal. i have a big muff, but i want a clearer, heavier sound.

    this pedal is awesome!!!

i use it on top of my orange ad30 set with a mid-gain punch

with the volume right up, the gain lowish and in LP mode on the OCD, solo tones are heavenly!!!

mine does too :( i wanted blue, hehe

  8. zivmeiri says:

  9. MrLoogyman says:

getting one in like 3 days!!!!! AAAAAHHHH!!!!

  13. firsel says:

    Indeed it is!

  14. 44eelz says:

whats does he mean when he says theres no
    compression at all?

  15. etguitar18 says:

if u hit the strings hard the volume will be louder and if u hit them more delicately the volume will decrease. With compression, whether u hit the strings hard or not hard the volume stays the same…

  16. Pied777 says:

that it doesn't sounds like a compressed distortion but a rich, warm overdrive

  17. bassandguitargreg says:

getting one for Christmas… so excited

    Amazing pedal :)

  19. jclev99 says:

    you r correct.
looping arrows around the knobs as well. This is V!,2, or 3, but most certainly not V4

  20. ProGuitarShopDemos says:

We received Ver 4's for months before the look changed.. Read up, Fuller says himself you can't go by the LED or cosmetics.

  21. jclev99 says:

    stand corrected then

  22. blueskidd96 says:

That's quite something to look forward to! Enjoy!

  23. tcinpa37 says:

Nope. Youtubers know better than a professional company which pedals you're demoing. Face it, the smartest people in the music world are on youtube.

    Kidding.

I have a serious question, though: how would you rate the bypass on this? Is it true, passive, or buffered? And if buffered (I think it is?), how is it for a chain?

Thanks, PGS. You guys have the coolest website for gear nerds like myself. And Andy can play his ass off.

  24. ProGuitarShopDemos says:

    True Bypass.

  25. Shadowin77 says:

yes…thought i'd add another in there..
