OOmg same with me
Luvox and therapy saved my life. My only regret is that I didn't get help sooner.
My brother too. He got a fever once but it was hardly anything and now he thinks he's dieing. Its worse then ever. He thinks his heart is beating wrong or his veins are not working right and he says he has stomach pains all the time. Right now he's in his room and he cannot sleep. he keeps calling me to bring stuff to him :'( I don't know what to do.

It is very hard to get, almost, off with the OCD, but it works! 83
I'm much better now^^
I think u should try to comfort him as much as possible. And if he believes in luck and such u could try this, My little sister was the same as your brother so I decided to give her a shiny little heart stone and i said to her "think of all happy thoughts while your holding the stone, and if you do it enough the stone will keep your mind clear and make you happy, and in times of need or trouble you keep it with you". She did that for a couple of days and she stopd woryingand l8ter got better
ive had a form of ocd for a couple years and i only told my parernts like last month my mom says i have ocd for example lets say i scatch my head with my left hand ill do it with my right hand after or i feel somthing might happen
OCD isn't bad because I started when I was 6 months. How my Mom knew is because when ever my hands got sticky when I was eating I would put up my hands and refused to eat unless my hands were clean. I dont need to take anything for it. OCD actually saved my life.
Most people have OCD, I think. I think some people give it to themselves by wanting to have it… to be different or for attention, you know what I mean? I don't think an 11 year old would… But I mean like 14 years +. A lot of teens want mental illness like depression,OCD, to seem "cool" which is weird… It's very sad.
i do that aswell i feel like i have to b symmetrical with alot of things, like doin something with one hand then the other, i thought i had some kind of disease when i was younger lol
None of you people have experienced OCD, having some quirky habit is not the same thing. You have no idea what you are talking about
I have just registered with You Tube just so that I can comment that you really don't know what you are talking about by reading the comment! Most people don't have OCD. You cannot give it to yourself and you certainly do not want it. For the sake of you not sounding completely ignorant again, and on behalf of OCD sufferers, please learn about it before passing judgement.
That could just be germaphobia….. Sticky makes them feel unclean, I feel the same.
I've got a problem that I'm not sure is an OCD but it annoys me, I want to stop but I can't. Let's say I think of touching something, I feel I HAVE to touch it or I get an odd feeling on my fingers and in my head, I can't explain the feel it's like… I'm incomplete because I haven't touched the object. I really want some advice on how to stop this, whether it's an ocd or not.
the only thing that's "sad" is your wacky theory and pathetic cluelessness wrt this terrible affliction.
i hav aspergers n ocd n i 18 n u cnt cure it but u can control it,
no most teens want to be cool and get depressed not bcoz they want to but coz nobody sais to them atleast onse that tjheir unique and/or butiful, trust me i went trough theis state and i wanted an ilnes onely coz since nobody tought i was cool or butiful atleast to be nice to me coz i have soemhtign and i need help, and that was what i wanted-gd ppl to act gd tords me/even tough i acted like their slave-so see ppl dotn want stuf to look cool but onely otehrs to be gd to them
what if they had ocd when they were a kid but it went away from them then came back
Great video… I wish I had been treated for my OCD as a young child because it escalated to food obsessions, anorexia nervosa and other more dangerous compulsive behaviours.
i have OCD, its not mild or severe… its like medium (is that the word?)
I have this OCD where if I hit or bump my head or be around a hazardous product that I'll get brain damage, it's very scary at times because I just want to get better again, but I know that I will. Just recently I was in a friends car and he was transporting gasoline and it spilled in the trunk and I was in the car with the fumes and now I keep thinking that I have brain damage and my personality and special abilities are gone for good and it actually feels so real, but that's OCD for you.
absolutely correct. If you have it, your life becomes a misery and no-one understands. Doctors put all sorts of labels on it , but the truth is , its a behavioural disorder and you can get over it if you have the will power.
same here
I believe I suffer from OCD, i tend to do number counting of little insinificant things when i start to get nervous or anxious. When I was younger I use to fear the death of my father and would hold on to every single thing he gave me believing he would always be there with me and that some how he would stay alive, I no longer do this.
actually there is a good chance one of your parents has some form of it also me and my 12 yr old son both have it so we help each other with it…good luck!
i Have severe OCD i tried many drugs then i lucked out and got a very good doctor and has me on a drug Fluvoxamine which is working quite well and is helping me breaks the cycles i go through if i was not on the med.
